The demolition of the Spirit of Aloha dinner show building at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is finished.
For those who may not know, the building was knocked down to make space for a new Disney Vacation Club wing.
Guests can see the demolition site clearly when riding the Monorail. The photo below shows several blue dumpsters full of demolition debris (an excavator can be seen in the right-hand corner).

As you can see in the photo below, the remaining demolition rubble has been pushed into tidy piles.

Earlier this year, Disney announced that the Spirit of Aloha was permanently closed. Sometime after that announcement, a permit for demolition was filed.
