Two models of the now-defunct Kongfrontation ride are now on display in the Universal Legacy Store at Universal Orlando CityWalk.
As the photos below show, the models of the classic Universal Studios Florida attraction are in glass cases on top of merchandise displays.
In case you didn’t know, Kongfrontation was Universal Orlando’s original King Kong attraction. Experience the ride, which closed in 2002, in the video below:
Kongfrontation was widely known for its massive King Kong animatronic, but, the ride was also known for its small details.
With that being said, the models in the Universal Legacy Store brilliantly show off the small details of Kongfrontation. The photos below show the first model on display (click on image to enlarge it):
