At this time, Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is currently closed for refurbishment.
Erected construction walls surround the Toon Lagoon attraction and now scaffolding has been put up against a facade. The photo below shows the recently erected scaffolding:
As you can see in the photo above, a temporary dam has also been up. Water can also be seen being pumped out of Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges.
