Disney has been sending out surveys to recent EPCOT guests, and one of the survey questions asked caught our attention.
Guests are being asked about their experience with the new nighttime show Harmonious. The question asked (with rating options*) can be read below:
How would you rate your overall experience with Harmonious compared to your overall experience with Illuminations: Reflections of Earth?

Disney has often sent out surveys, however, they don’t usually make direct comparisons to previous attractions/offerings or offer a rating option of “worse.”
It’s fair to say that Harmonious has had very mixed reaction since its debut late last year. Just like Rivers of Light, Harmonious was years in the making, leading to high expectations that for many were not met.
Disney is known for using survey results to “support a particular direction being pushed internally.” At this time, it isn’t clear if Disney is looking to support Harmonious or maybe make a case for a rework of the show.
This wouldn’t be the first time a Walt Disney World nighttime show had a rework shortly after debuting. Illuminations 25 and Rivers of Light both were reworked after debuting.
