Following Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl victory last night, Walt Disney World Resort illuminated Cinderella Castle in the Buccaneers colours. The castle was also illuminated in blue for healthcare heroes, as an beacon of celebration and hope.
Straight after the game, long-time teammates and star players Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski topped their incredible performances with an annual tradition – appearing in the “I’m Going to Disney World” commercial. Watch this year’s commercial featuring the pair mentioned above below:
Every year, the commercial tends to feature Super Bowl heroes celebrating their incredible performances and victory. However, Disney not only celebrated Brady and Gronkowski, they celebrated healthcare heroes who have been bravely fighting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Today, Gronkowski’s fairytale experience continues when he travels to Walt Disney World for an exciting afternoon. This year’s annual Super Bowl Parade will not take place this year. Plans are well underway for Brady’s visit to Walt Disney World, which is likely in a few months.
