Walt Disney World Extends Theme Parks Operations by 40 Hours, Changes Affect Select Dates Through 12th October

Walt Disney World has made a change to the operating hours of all four of their theme parks recently. Interestingly, the changes introduce 40 more hours of operating than was listed previously.

Listed below are the changes which have been made, and which will affect select dates through the 12^th October.

Magic Kingdom (MK)

• 2^nd October – MK will close at 7:00pm (previously 6:00pm)
• 3^rd October – MK will close at 7:00pm (previously 6:00pm)
• 4^th October – MK will close at 7:00pm (previously 6:00pm)
• 9^th October – MK will close at 8:00pm (previously 6:00pm)
• 10^th October – MK will close at 8:00pm (previously 6:00pm)
• 11^th October – MK will close at 8:00pm (previously 6:00pm)
• 12^th October – MK will close at 8:00pm (previously 6:00pm)

EPCOT (EPT)

• 2^nd October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 7:00pm)
• 3^rd October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 8:00pm)
• 4^th October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 7:00pm)
• 9^th October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 7:00pm)
• 10^th October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 8:00pm)
• 11^th October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 7:00pm)
• 12^th October – EPT will close at 9:00pm (previously 7:00pm)

Disney’s Hollywood Studios (DHS)

• 2^nd October – DHS will close at 8:00pm (previously 7:00pm)
• 3^rd October – DHS will close at 8:00pm (previously 7:00pm)
• 4^th October – DHS will close at 8:00pm (previously 7:00pm)

Disney’s Animal Kingdom  (DAK)*

*Opening and closing times changed – see below:

• 2^nd October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
• 3^rd October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
• 4^th October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
• 9^th October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
• 10^th October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
• 11^th October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
• 12^th October – 8:00am to 6:00pm (previously 9:00am to 5:00pm)
