Tokyo Disney Resort Closed Until 15th March Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

The resort is currently scheduled to reopen to guests on the 16th March, 2020.

The Oriental Land Company has announced that Tokyo Disney Resort (TDR) will be closed until the 15th March, 2020, due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

This closure applies to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. The Ikspiari shopping mall adjacent to Tokyo Disney Resort will also be closed.

TDR joins Shanghai Disneyland (SDL) and Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) in closing the theme parks due to the outbreak.

Disney has not announced a planned reopening date for SDL or HKDL as officials continue to monitor the outbreak.
