A recently uploaded YouTube video from Fresh Baked shows how to unlock “Chewie Mode” on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
An all-new hack has been discovered by Walt Disney World guests which replaces the voice of pirate Hondo Ohnaka with Chewbacca for the entire ride.
The Fresh Baked crew had some help from Cast Members unlocking the attraction’s “Chewie Mode” and have shared the “hacking” process in a recent video which you can watch in full below.
Step-by-step instructions on how to unlock “Chewie Mode” can be found below:
- Do not activate your position right away like you would usually do.
- Left and right Pilots need to push their controls to the extreme left/right or extreme up/down depending on their joystick movement.
- After that, Pilots hit the activation button.
- Engineers and Gunners need to hit one of the white buttons on their respective consoles before hitting their activation button. Hold the white button and then press active.
- Ensure all of this is done before the CM checks your seatbelts and hits their own confirmation button.
That’s pretty much it! If you’ve completed the process correctly, you should hear Chewbacca’s voice during the entire ride instead of Hondo Ohnaka’s voice. If you don’t hear Chewie’s voice, better luck next time.
