A woman has filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney World Resort pursuing damages of $30,000 relating to an alleged injury that happened on Space Mountain in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom.
The Tennessee woman is pursuing damages after she alleges the Space Mountain Cast Member (SP CM) slammed a gate on her. The incident happened on the 28th February, 2018, and the report of the injuries that the woman suffered is unclear.
The lawsuit claims that the SP CM failed to safely inspect and control the ride, or exercise reasonable care, among other complaints. Stay tuned to Orlando Theme Park Zone for more on this case. Should anything new emerge, we will update this post.
