As we reported earlier, a couple of guests were able to climb onto the Carousel of Progress (COP) set yesterday…The story continues!
Whilst the attraction opened on time today, it would appear that there was some damage to the set where the guests climbed on stage. In the photos below, take a look at what Mike of Blog Mickey noticed on a recent trip to the Magic Kingdom.
The photo below shows the butter churn that the guest grabbed has been removed from the set of COP.
Also damaged during the incident was the scrim which can be seen in the photo below. Even though a hole wasn’t torn per say, it would appear that someone or something may have tried to push through it. Subsequently, becoming over-stretched.
Another, yet smaller, difference would be the movement in the rug, which tends to sit closer to the scrim on the left and was moved during the incident. See in the photo below:
