Original Article: Fyre Drill in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk at Universal’s Epic Universe will close for a brief refurbishment in February 2026. 

According to Attractions Magazine, Fyre Drill will close on the 1st February, 2026. It will remain closed until the 7th February, 2026, according to the established outlet. 

It’s highly likely that Fyre Drill will reopen to guests on the 8th February, 2026 (depending on the refurbishment’s outcome). 

Update: The refurbishment of Fyre Drill has been extended. The How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk-located attraction will remain closed until the 13th February, 2026.

It’s highly likely that Fyre Drill will reopen to guests on the 14th February, 2026 (depending on the refurbishment’s outcome).
