IT’S OFFICIAL! The new Encanto attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will feature the original film cast.
Encanto co-director and writer, Jared Bush, revealed the news in an X post responding to a question about the new attraction’s script. Both the question and answer can be read below:

Bush’s response also confirms that the Encanto attraction will feature new dialogue from the film’s original voice cast, recorded specifically for the attraction rather than reused audio.

This news follows recent construction progress in Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdon, where vertical construction on the show building for the Encanto attraction is well underway.
The Encanto attraction is part of Tropical Americas land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, alongside a second signature attraction themed to Indiana Jones. Both are set to open in 2027.
