This announcement comes after both Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) and the Orange County Medical Examiner (OCME) released their reports on Zavala’s death. Both determined his death was an accident and no criminal acts had occurred.
The reports produced by OCSO and OCME provided an extensive time of what potentially happened. Several summary interviews with the first responders, Zavala’s girlfriend, and his parents are also included in the documents.
