Back in 2024, Disney officially announced the development of Disney Lakeshore Lodge, a brand-new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resort hotel. Set to open in 2027, Disney Lakeshore Lodge is being built “within the same footprint” as Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge (which was scrapped in 2020).
FYI: Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge was announced back in 2018 as a deluxe nature-themed resort featuring 900 hotel rooms and DVC villas. However, it was shelved discreetly amid the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge will be inspired by nature and the enduring influence of Disney artists. According to Disney, Disney Lakeside Lodge will offer guests a unique blend of rustic elegance and imaginative storytelling. It will also provide guests with a serene escape along the Bay Lake shore.
