Frozen Ever After at EPCOT will close on 26th January, 2026, as Disney prepares to install new audio-animatronics for Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.
The Norway Pavilion-located attraction is expected to reopen in February 2026 with the updated audio-animatronics in place. This will be the first major update to Frozen Ever After characters since it opened in 2016.
The updated audio-animatronics will use same technology as Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen does. The video below shows example of World of Frozen’s audio-animatronic:
The above video really offers a glimpse of whats to come. Disney describes the update as “a full circle moment” showing how the groundbreaking technology that started with Frozen Ever After continues to evolve and inspire.
