Return of the walls! Construction walls have once again been erected in The Lost Continent at Universal’s Islands of Adventure (Islands of Adventure).
Photos below, captured by WDWNT and X user @bioreconstruct, show the recently erected walls near the exit of Poseidon’s Fury.

It’s unclear what the construction walls are for. Hopefully, they’re tied to upcoming “construction activity” in The Lost Continent.
Back in September, Universal Orlando confirmed that there would be “construction activity in the Islands of Adventure land in an email statement to Orlando Business Journal.
The original demolition permit for the “construction activity” was cancelled and refiled under a new permit. A screenshot of the new permit emerged online via Orlando Park Stop’s newest article (read here).

Latest speculation suggests that Pokémon could be coming to Islands of Adventure, replacing The Lost Continent.
A Notice of Commencement (NOC/permit) for Islands of Adventure has been filed by Universal Orlando. It’s unclear whether its for the construction activity in the Islands of Adventure land or the extensive Jurassic Park River Adventure refurbishment. Stay tuned for further updates.
