A new permit lists “Site Utilities and Foundation Work” for a new 150,000sqft building at Universal’s Epic Universe (Epic Universe).
Approximately 20 hours ago, Behind the Thrills posted two screenshots of the permit on X with the following:
“A new permit calls for utilities and foundation work at Epic Universe for a 150,000sqft addition. Could this be Epic Universe’s first attraction expansion?”

X user @tommyhawkins (Tommy Hawkins) quote tweeted Behind the Thrills post and shared a rather interesting graphic he produced (see below).
The above graphic shows an unconfirmed expansion pad (22,000sqft bigger then the new building) next to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universal.
Could it be a new attraction or could it be an event space? Who knows! Stay tuned as this is a developing story.
