Stay tuned as this is a developing and breaking story. A post by X user @WDWActiveCrime (Walt Disney World: Active Calls) states that there was an active Orange County Sheriff’s Office call at Disney’s Pop Century Resort where a dead person had been found.
Walt Disney Active Calls initially posted the following on X approximately six hours ago:
“Police Alert – 11/02/25 – 2:37am, Person Down at Pop Century Resort”

The X user then updated the information shortly after the above post.
“UPDATE to previous call: Person Down, Changed to: Dead Person at Pop Century.”

As of publishing this article, we’ve reached out to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for comment. It would be improper to speculate on this tragic event. However, it’s worth noting that the call “could fall under unattended, natural causes, and so on.”
Update: Orlando Theme Park Zone can sadly confirm a woman in her 40s has passed away. You can find out more here.
