Guests in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Universal’s Epic Universe (Epic Universe) yesterday were disrupted by a boom lift.
Approximately 16 hours ago, X user @bioreconstruct posted a photo (Image #1) which shows the boom lift parked in the middle of the Epic Universe land with Team Members in the basket.
Team Members removed shutters from the left window of the building pictured (Image #2) during operational parks hours yesterday evening, 25th October, 2025. We cannot confirm why the shutters were removed.
X user @somewareatdiz posted a video of the boom lift reversing with Team Members still in the basket. Watch the eight-second video @somewareatdiz posted below:

It’s worth noting that the Time-Turner above the portal of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic has been removed for maintenance.
