Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT will close briefly next month as Disney begins converting the attraction from 3D to 2D digital visuals. This means guests will no longer need 3D glasses to experience the ride.
The France Pavilion-based ride will be closed from the 10th November, 2025, to the 13th November, 2025. It’s highly likely Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will reopen to guests on the 14th November, 2025.
The update signifies a substantial shift for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which has 3D projection since it opened in 2021. Disney says the new system will use sharper, high-resolution 2D imagery to create clearer, brighter scenes while maintaining the same storytelling and motion-based experience.
New props and lighting enhancements in both the queue and the ride will also be added. These updates will be rolled out in phases over the next few months. It’s fair to suggest that these changes will give Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure a refreshed look!
A similar change is also ongoing at the original Ratatouille : L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, where Disney is converting the ride from 3D to 2D projection.
