There’s an important lesson to take from this rant. According to a post on Reddit, a child took the hat of The Invisible Man character in Dark Universe at Universal’s Epic Universe.
FYI: The information was posted in a thread on the fan-run Universal’s Epic Universe community page on the social media platform.

“This is more of a rant than anything. This is my and my parties first experience going to epic and also in dark universe. To make this a quick rant my party and I saw the invisible man in the distance and we went over for a photo. Being an actor he was drawing a crowd but we stepped back to allow a more structured system to form of a photo/encounter to occur. Off to the left a large family with multiple children and adults were against the building and the mom clearly videoing with no comments to give to the children running around. One of the boys no older than 12 maybe 13 ran up to the actor and took his hat out of his line of sight and trotted off. Obviously the actor gave an impulsive response of looking around honestly of shock or whatever and the kid is laughing.
He gave it back within a second or two but myself and my party of being pissed and shock loudly yelled “you can’t touch the actors!” And I personally yelled “what the fuck?!?! And directly looked at this entire family with angry/disgust because that led to the actor to immediately leave because he was being fucked with. Obviously hindsight is 20/20 I probably shouldn’t have cussed and I have reflected on that but it was 100% impulse and shock. The worst part was the mom and the kid looked at me and my party with a deer in headlights look of shock of the idea of any negative reaction or that a stranger would say something to them or their behavior is wrong. We walked off as the crew member was approaching them reiterating what we said about not touching the actors. Shit like this just pisses me off and it ruined an experience for everyone not just myself.”

The lesson to take from this rant is simple…DO NOT TOUCH THE ACTORS OR THEIR PROPS!
Incidents like the one mentioned above could potentially lead to Universal Orlando reducing the amount of time the roaming characters are out in Dark Universe, which ruins it for the guests who behave impeccably.
Have you ever witnessed guests behaving badly with the characters in Dark Universe? Let us know in the comments
