Disney has announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will officially open in Summer 2026. The reimagined attraction will feature the Electric Mayhem band in an all-new high-speed adventure packed with Muppet madness, music, and comedy.
The new storyline puts guests in the middle of Electric Mayhem’s biggest concert ever, only if the band could make it on time. Inside G-Force Records, now under Muppet management, Scooter is doing everything he can to get the band moving while a team of penguin audio engineers keeps the studio moving.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will include a brand-new Muppet Audio-Animatronic figure of Scooter. Disney has hinted that other Muppet figures could appear throughout the attraction. However, thorough details have not been revealed yet.
The fan-favourite roller coaster takes guests on a high-speed limousine ride through a reimagined Hollywood, packed with landmarks and backstage moments touched by the humour of The Muppets. The Electric Mayhem’s rock soundtrack will accompany riders throughout the attraction.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s red guitar will receive a psychedelic makeover inspired by the band’s style, including a golden piano key.

The current version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will remain open through 2025 before closing for the reimagining. Stay tuned to further updates.
