Stay tuned as this is a developing and breaking story. A guest has died following a medical emergency on Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park.
According to a post on X by user @DisneyScoopGuy, the guest was found unresponsive when it was time to exit the attraction (unload).
One eyewitness, Aaron AJ Brody, posted the following in Disneyland Annual Passholder Facebook group:
“I saw all the security and medical personal running into Haunted Mansion and knew something bad had happened. Thoughts and prayers to her family”
Lisa Cortijo posted the following in the same group:
“Heartbreaking. Security was rushing past us, we were wondering what happened.”
The guest was tragically pronounced dead upon arriving at hospital, according to @DisneyScoopGuy’s X post. Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences go to the guest’s family at this difficult time.

Update: The Orange County Register has now confirmed the death of the guest. You can read a quote below:
“A Disneyland visitor who suffered a heart attack while riding the Haunted Mansion was unresponsive when her ride vehicle returned to the unload station and was pronounced dead after reaching the hospital, according to officials.
Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to Disneyland on Monday, Oct. 6 at about 6:30 p.m. for an unresponsive woman in her 60s who had just finished riding the Haunted Mansion attraction, according to spokesperson Sgt. Matt Sutter.
Disneyland security provided CPR until Anaheim Fire & Rescue paramedics arrived and the woman was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, according to Sutter.”
