The audio-animatronics on Frozen Ever After at EPCOT will soon receive a major refresh after nearly a decade in operation.
Disney revealed that the update will take place early next year, the same technology Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen does will be used. The video below shows example of World of Frozen’s audio-animatronic:
The Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff audio-animatronics will be upgraded to match the more expressive and realistic facial animation as seen in the above video. The result of the update will be a closer-to-film likeness, which should excite you all.
Disney describes the update as “a full circle moment” showing how the groundbreaking technology that started with Frozen Ever After continues to evolve and inspire.
