Teen Climbs 100-feet Up Busch Gardens Williamsburg Roller Coaster, Rescued by Firefighters

An 18-year-old man was charged with trespassing after he climbed a Busch Gardens Williamsburg roller coaster and had to be rescued by firefighters.

Charles Parker climbed the Tempesto roller coaster to a catwalk about 100 feet in the air Sunday evening, according to officials from the James City County Fire Department and Police Department.

The James City County Fire Department was called in to help get Parker back to the ground. The incident occurred at 9:30pm on 5th October, 2025. It remains under investigation, stay tuned for possible updates.
