Stay tuned for possible updates. Approximately 15 hours ago, X user @SortaGayItalian posted a photo which appears to show a boom lift and “construction lights” near the track of Stardust Racers at Universal’s Epic Universe (Epic Universe).

Rumours suggest more trim brakes could be added to the Epic Universe roller coaster, which is currently closed. A definition of a trim brake can be found below:

“A trim brake is used to reduce the speed of a roller coaster train along sections of track to keep it exceeding the top speed recommended by the ride manufacturer. It is one of the first features some enthusiasts look for when scouring over new roller coaster blueprints.”

Break trims had already been added to Stardust Racers after testing. X user @ParkTwisted posted the following on the 20th June, 2025:
