During a question-and-answer session at the Goldman Sachs Communicopia + Technology Conference, President Michael Cavanagh said Comcast “couldn’t be more pleased” with the early reaction to Universal’s Epic Universe (Epic Universe).
“Epic, opened in May, fantastic, unbelievably technologically advanced. Hopefully, many of you have made it there. The reaction to the “immersiveness” and attraction is outstanding. So, we couldn’t be more pleased. It’s lifted attendance and revenues across the whole Orlando complex. Merchandise and food experience there are kind of setting levels that are fantastic.”

Cavanagh also talked (in detail) about the capacity of Universal Orlando’s newest theme park.
“So more to come as we ramp capacity from the early days, as we brought one huge park online at once. So we’re constraining a little bit of capacity in the park as we get running full tilt.”
Michael Cavanagh
On Epic Universe:
“We just opened Epic, and we’re going to be ramping that converting as we go by month by month, ever more capacity and steadiness in operations, which will be great. That’s off to a great start.”

During a recent question-and-answer session at the Bank of America 2025 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference, Mark Woodbury teased that more attractions are in development at Universal Orlando.
