The Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando have revealed that they have completed a $40 million dollar multi-year renovation to the hotel, including the debut of newly renovated guest rooms and suits.
The renovation included guest rooms, Hard Rock Hotel’s signature restaurant and lobby bar. The building’s distinguishable façade was also part of the renovation.
Inspired by the colours and textures of a California sunset, the new room designs focused on the oranges, blues, and ambers. Design firm KTGY focused on creating a reminiscent aesthetic reflecting the California modern mission-style exterior.

As you can see in the photos above, fan-favourite elements still feature in the rooms, including the record artwork on the walls (now elevated) and mirrors with celebrity heights.
“We’re thrilled for our guests to experience a new look and feel when they check in next,” John Power, Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando’s managing director said. “Think of a place where you would hang out and listen to your favourite band lay down a new track in the studio.”
