Stay tuned for further updates (including more photos and video). The demolition of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (HRRR) at Universal Studios Florida has begun.
Approximately two hours ago, X user @bioreconstruct posted the below photo of “steel being cut at the Treble Clef track area” of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
15 hours ago, we posted a video, captured by X user @24chadster, which showed part of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit’s boundary fence being ripped away.

Construction walls were swiftly erected at the entrance of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit after it permanently closed on the 18th August, 2025. Universal Orlando hasn’t revealed any details about the “new experience” replacing it.
Back in December 2024, we reported about the permit which revealed that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit was being removed and replaced. You can find out more here.

As captured from Universal CityWalk, pieces of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit track have been removed (as seen in the photos above). The removed pieces are from the loop closet to the lagoon.

Update #4: Approximately 52 minutes ago, X user @SpeculationMatt posted a photo (see below) which shows significant progress has been made on a portion of the now-closed roller coaster.
