A woman from Kentucky was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine when she was caught with the drugs at the Magic Kingdom.

According to Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) arrest report (via WDWNT), Brandi Asher said she forgot she had the meth with her until Disney security found it at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Asher pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony back in June. The incident occurred on the 20th May, 2025.

At 9:30am, Disney Security Officer Frederick Ciadrdi found a tin can inside Ahser’s bag and shook it during the bag check. Astonishingly, the can made no sound.

“Frederick thought that was strange and opened the tin can and discovered small white items inside of the can, including a long white cylinder, which looked like a pen, and two small plastic baggies with something white inside of them,” the arrest report said (via WDWNT).

“Frederick asked Brandi what these items were. She advised it was medicine because she gets headaches. She stated it was ‘goodies [sic], headache [powder].’ Brandi started shaking and telling Frederick that he could just throw the items away. However, Frederick couldn’t do that. Brandi became increasingly nervous and started putting the items from the can into her pockets.”

An Orange County Sheriff’s deputy who was investigating identified the substance as meth and the hollow cylinder-shaped tube that appeared to be used to snort methamphetamine.

According to the arrest report (via WDWNT), Asher said she had been staying at the Westgate Resort when someone randomly came up to her and offered her the meth. Without telling her husband, she accepted the drugs and then mistakenly thought she left them at the hotel that day in her other bag until she got caught red-handed in the security line.

“Brandi was very honest about the situation in question,” the arrest report said (via WDWNT). “She pulled out a small clear baggie that had the same crystal-like substance that matched what was inside the tin can. […] Inside Brady’s front left pocket, there were two crystal rocks matching other substances.”
