Work started recently! Approximately three hours ago, X user @bioreconstruct posted a number of new and detailed aerial photos of the site preparation for the attraction replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (HRRR) at Universal Studios Florida.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the aerial photos @bioreconstruct has posted.

- Image #1: Aerial overview of HRRR. At left and right are site preparation for the attraction that replaces HRRR.

- Image #3: Aerial look at the construction fencing along a CityWalk walkway. Behind the fences, walkway has been removed and it seems like more removal is in progress.

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit closes permanently on the 18th August, 2025. Universal Orlando hasn’t revealed any details about the “new experience” replacing it.
