Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges at Universal’s Islands of Adventure will close for refurbishment in February 2025.

According to Orlando Informer, Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges will close on the 1^st February, 2025. It will remain closed until the 15^th March, 2025, according to the established outlet.

It’s highly likely that Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges will reopen to guests on the 16^th March, 2025 (depending on the refurbishment’s outcome). It’s more then likely that the Toon Lagoon attraction will undergo annual winter maintenance during this refurbishment.
