Approximately 17 hours ago, X user @bioreconstruct posted a number of detailed aerial photos of a large crane staged behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (BTMR) at the Magic Kingdom.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the aerial photos @bioreconstruct has posted.

The crane arrived in early December before being extended approximately one week later. Ahead of the crane’s arrival, a portion of land was cleared.
The iconic Magic Kingdom attraction will be closed starting 6th January, 2025 for an extensive refurbishment that will last into 2026.
According to Blog Mickey, a rumour suggests that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will receive a full track replacement. You can find out more about the rumour here.
