SeaWorld Orlando’s Lynn The Mime announced yesterday that after 36 years, he’ll no longer be performing at SeaWorld Orlando, according to a X post by Streaming The Magic (@StreamingMagic).
According to @StreamingMagic’s post, Lynn said he was abruptly terminated after an altercation with a SeaWorld Orlando security staff member.

“Lynn The Mime from SeaWorld announced yesterday that after 36 years, he’ll no longer be performing at SeaWorld [Orlando]. Lynn said he was abruptly terminated after an altercation with a SeaWorld [Orlando] security staff member.
The dispute started when Lynn was riding his bike into work, through the park to his dressing room. This is something has done for years. This particular security guard though was not having it and told Lynn he could not ride his bike through the park to his dressing room.
Lynn explained that during the exchange he asked for clarification on why suddenly he could not ride his bike and according to Lynn he was not given a reason. Lynn said he also read the rule book and there’s nothing that states he cannot ride his bike to the dressing room.
Later that day the security guard went to HR [Human Resources] and claimed Lynn cursed at him and threw his bike which Lynn denies. According to Lynn he was later fired without being called into HR to be allowed to share his side of the story.”

Yeah, I first saw the videos of Lynn talking about what happened to him but I just think that it was the security staffs fault for telling him that he’s not allowed to be working at SeaWorld anymore! Or I feel that it was SeaWorld’s fault for firing Lynn in the first place ! I feel that it should have not happened to Lynn cause he’s been working there for 36 years how dare you SeaWorld for firing Lynn that Iis just messed up!😠
I have finally retired (73 yrs. old), and have saved for a long time, to afford a trip to Florida, and visit the theme parks. My planned itinerary included a day or two at Seaworld. Having followed reels on Facebook, I was especially looking forward to seeing Tom the Mime perform. I love how he engaged audience members, putting smiles on the faces of all ages. I have since learned that he has been fired! Reading the details of his dismissal, I am terribly annoyed with Seaworld’s mindless, unfair management policies. Since when do corporations base such ludicrous employment decisions upon the words of a security guard?!! Worse, according to Lynn, he wasn’t even permitted to address Human Resources, to defend himself. You can bet I won’t patronize Seaworld, while visiting the Sunshine State. Shame on you.
