Universal Orlando has today confirmed that Universal’s Epic Universe (EU) will feature a high-speed dual-racing roller coaster called Starfall Racers in its Celestial Park land, a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter land, roaming dark universe monsters, and How to Train Your Dragon-themed Attractions.
The upcoming Universal Orlando theme park is set to open in 2025. EU was announced back in 2019, however, the company has shared very little details about the attractions. Mark Woodbury, Chairman and CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences, confirmed Super Nintendo World would be a part of the park in February 2023.
Today’s press release signifies the first “bundle” of details, and it focused on Celestial Park, the first land that guests will encounter at EU. In the press release, Universal Orlando said it will consist of gardens and waterways, Constellation Carousel, the Astronomica wet-play area, dining and shopping locations.
Celestial Park will serve as a portal to the park’s four other lands listed below:
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic: Guests will discover a different era of the wizarding world in an all-new land that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.
- Super Nintendo World: Guests will enter the iconic green pipe and discover a new way to play as they step into the worlds of beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong.
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: Guests will have to chance to soar with dragons in the colourful world filled with Viking adventures based on the widely popular How to Train Your Dragon film franchise.
- Dark Universe: Guests encounter everything from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery.

In case you’re unaware, EU is located just a few miles from Universal Orlando’s current offerings – Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Celestial Park will also include Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel, which will have 500 rooms and its own entrance into EU. Universal previously announced the names for the two other resort hotels: Stella Nova and Terra Luna. You can find out more the pair here.
