Concept art for Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel at Universal’s Epic Universe has emerged online.
A guest Themeparx user posted the concept art for the in-park hotel in a thread dedicated to Epic Universe (original source).
With that being said, let’s take a look at the concept art the guest user posted on the forum yesterday.
“This in-the-park, themed hotel is a combination of carefully planned programmatic elements with a unqiue thematic story that culminates in a lavish extension of story for guests to the park.
Envisioned as a present day, alternate universe design, this project was born out of the imagery of fable, video game worlds, and film. Set as the backdrop to the adjacent theme park [Epic Universe], the client sought to create a ‘Disney castle’ which was inhabitable.
Heavily influenced by thematic storytelling, this one-of-a-kind hotle houses five hundred themed rooms and suites, a spectacular outdoor pool, and an amenity floor that includes a ballroom and grandiose, domed bar experience.”
It’s fair to suggest the above quote describes the hotel perfectly.
It’s worth mentioning that the name of the hotel hasn’t been officially revealed. However, trademark applications suggest it’s going to be called Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel. You can find out more about it here.
