Skylar Neilson posted a video that shows a guest taking a photo of a cake which had lit sparkling candles in Mickey’s Towntown at Disneyland Park

You can watch the 23-second video Neilson posted in a Disneyland Resort Facebook group below:

After taking a photo of the cake, the guest went back to using her mobile phone. When the guest notices a Cast Member coming her way, she quickly blows out the candles.

Whilst we can’t clearly hear what the Cast Member was saying, we can assume he was reprimanding the guest. It’s unclear what happened after the video finished.

Whilst they can’t be considered fireworks, sparking candles can be considered flammable objects and are prohibited.

As listed in the official Disneyland Resort rules, “Fireworks or other similarly explosive and/or flammable objects, smoke machines or fog machines.”
