A guest is suing Walt Disney World after she said she fell and hurt herself during the evacuation of EPCOT’s Test Track this year.

The guest filed the lawsuit against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, US, Inc. and is seeking damages that “exceeds the sum of $50,000, exclusive of costs, interest, and attorneys’ fees.” 

The guest was at EPCOT on 17th March, 2023, and was riding Test Track when it broke down. According to the lawsuit, “the ride malfunctioned and shut down in the middle.”

Over the intercom, a Cast Member told riders they had to exit the attraction. A second Cast Member led the guest away. As she followed, “she fell into a three-foot drop-off,”  the lawsuit stated. 

The guest suffered a “permanent injury”, the lawsuit stated. It’s worth noting that there were no details on how she got hurt. Stay tuned for possible updates. You can read the lawsuit (complaint) below:
