According to a recently filed lawsuit, a man is suing Disney after he reportedly fell off The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
The fall allegedly caused him “severe and permanent injuries,” according to the lawsuit. For your information, Fox 35 Orlando initially reported about the lawsuit.
On the 28th April, 2022, Billy Williams said he was trying to board the Magic Kingdom attraction with his wife when a Cast Member hit the emergency stop button.
The emergency stop reportedly caused the ride to jolt without warning and Williams fell off the ride and onto the ground, the lawsuit alleges.
Williams, who is from Orange County, is seeking $50,000 in damages from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, US, Inc.
It’s alleged that Disney was negligent for “failing to maintain the premises in a reasonable safe condition” and failed to correct or make him aware of the dangerous situation.
