Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast Grand Opening Date Announced  

Following weeks of previews and technical rehearsals, Universal Orlando has announced that Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast at Universal Studios Florida will officially open on the 11th August, 2023. 

The company revealed the exciting news in a tweet posted on their Twitter account. You can read what Universal Orlando shared below:

Team Member previews for the upcoming attraction ended a few weeks ago. It’s worth noting that Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast has been operating intermittently for technical rehearsals. 

Annual Passholder previews will take place at the start of August, before the Passholder Appreciation Days. You can find all our Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast coverage here.

Universal Orlando has also announced that Minion Land on Illumination Avenue will officially open on the same day, 11th August, 2023. You can find out more about the land right here.
