Via Fox 35 Orlando, Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has confirmed that a man died at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Wednesday.
The incident occurred shortly after 5:33am, according to OCSO. Deputies responded to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for a call about a man who was found unresponsive on hotel grounds.
He was pronounced dead on the scene. According to Fox 35 Orlando, OCSO didn’t release any more information about the incident.
The Orange County Medical Examiner told Fox News the victim has been identified as a 39-year-old man from Wisconsin. He reportedly fell from a hotel room balcony.
“The victim, identified by the Orange County Medical Examiner as 39-year-old Jeffery Vanden Boom of Greendale, Wisconsin, died from blunt force trauma in what has been ruled as an accident fall from a hotel room balcony.”
