Sosa Family Cigar Co. at Disney Springs has permanently closed. The small family-operated cigar shop closed for good this past Monday, 2nd January, 2023.
In case you didn’t know, Sosa Family Cigar co. was located near the AMC DINE-IN theatres on the west side of Disney Springs. The shop featured dozens of cigar brands, tobacco, and more (small smoking area).
Sosa Family Cigars thanked its customers for their support in an Instagram post about the shop’s closure.
“Thank you for all your support for over 25 years,” the post’s caption stated.
As a long-time tenant of Walt Disney World, Sosa Family Cigar previously had a location at Pleasure Island in what was previously known as Downtown Disney.
Disney hasn’t revealed what will be taking over the vacant shop. Stay tuned for further updates.
Twitter user @magiccitymayhem posted a handful of photos that show the shop’s sign removed and windows blacked out.
