The demolition of the Shrek-themed structures at Universal Studios Florida appears to have been completed. Shrek 4-D officially closed in January and signage for the attraction was removed in February.
A steel frame was erected at the entrance of the now-closed Universal Studios Florida attraction back in September. More steel was then added to the frame in October.
Several weeks later, even more steel has been added to the frame. The photos below show what the frame looks like now:



The entrance for Shrek 4-D’s replacement is really taking shape. We see the “V” already!
An interactive Minions attraction is rumoured to replace Shrek 4-D. We hope to hear more about its replacement in the near future.
