Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has died aged 72.
Coltrane portrayed Hagrid for several Universal Orlando (including Universal Studios Hollywood) theme park attractions, including Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Besides Harry Potter, he also appeared in the ITV detective drama Cracker and the James Bond films Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough.
Coltrane’s agent, Belinda Wright, confirmed the actor died in a hospital near Falkirk in Scotland. You can read more here
