Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen on the 17th July, having been closed for almost two years due to the global Coronavirus pandemic.

When the meet and greet location reopens, guests will once more have the chance to meet Chewbacca, BB-8, and Darth Vader. Chewbacca has continued to make appearances in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during the location’s closure. 

Back in 2020, Star Wars Launch Bay was used as a relaxation station. It reopened later as a walkthrough exhibit but has remained closed mainly.
