According to a recent post on Reddit, a Splash Mountain ride vehicle reportedly sunk at the Magic Kingdom yesterday.
One day ago, user u/RedStar9117 posted the following on r/WaltDisneyWorld:
“Another log sunk today on Splash Mountain. I got a walk off which was interesting and a lightning lane but the folks in the sunken [log] were getting clothing vouchers and other stuff. No injuries thankfully”
According to u/RedStar9117, the guests that were in the “sunk log” were “wet up to the knees.”
Needless to say, it’s excellent to see that the guests affected were compensated in various ways – lightning lane passes and clothing vouchers.
As of publishing this article, we’ve reached out to Disney for comment. Stay tuned for further updates.
