In the video below, guests can be seen stuck on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror after the attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios broke down.
As the text in the above video states, guests got stuck at the highest point of Tower of Terror’s drop, right inside the shaft of the elevator.
Guests were stuck in that position for 30 minutes until the ride vehicle was lowered by Cast Members:
“It slowly lowered us lol. They couldn’t fix the issue while we were on it. It was closed for awhile once we were let off lol.”

Thankfully, guests didn’t have to walk down multiple flights of stairs to evacuate the attraction. We can assume that the affected guests received lightning lane passes for their troubles.
