Universal Orlando has opened a new quiet room for autistic visitors.
Designed by Universal Creative and the Guest Safety and Accessibility teams, the room is located at Universal Studios Florida next to the Studio Audience Center.

The room offers a space for visitors who might need a sensory break from the noise and crowds at the Universal Orlando theme parks. It has an activity wall with tactile toys as well as sensory tunnels.

Visitors don’t need to reserve the room, however, it is available on a “first-come, first-serve basis.”
As well as the new quiet room, Universal Orlando now offers a planning guide for visitors who have autism. The guide includes attraction descriptions and a list of quiet areas around the theme parks.
