Disney’s Blizzard Beach to Remain Closed Rest of This Year?

-

As with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial until Walt Disney World officially confirms.

A post/rumour on Screamscape suggests that Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will remain closed for the rest of this year.

“According to Screamscape sources Blizzard Beach is now expected to remain closed for 2022 to allow Blizzard Beach to perform some needed maintenance projects.”

Additional quote

“I’m sure there is a long laundry list of items that will be addressed, but some of the items to be address will include work on the chairlift, possibly adding the much requested Red Slope tube conveyor for the three Runoff Rapids slides, adding better night lighting to the park to allow for after-hours events, and more.”

This rumoured extended closure strangely makes sense to us…stay tuned for further updates.

Once again, as with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial until Walt Disney World officially confirms.
