The webpage for Splash Mountain on the Walt Disney World website has been updated and no longer lists the attraction as under refurbishment. However, there’s something missing that should be there. What’s missing you may be thinking?
Well! There’s no longer an acknowledgment that Splash Mountain will be transformed into a Princess and the Frog-themed attraction.
The screenshot below shows the attraction’s web page during the recent refurbishment:

Previously, a blurb (including a link) referencing the retheme could be found under an image of Splash Mountain.
As the screenshot below shows, the text read “An exciting new refresh is coming to this attraction. Read More*.”

*The read more link would direct users to the Princess and the Frog retheme announcement post on the Disney Parks Blog.
Presently, the Splash Mountain webpage has no references to the forthcoming reimagining of the attraction. The screenshot below shows this change;

It’s more than likely that Disney forgot to add the reference (aka blurb) back following the refurbishment message. However, once Disney becomes aware of the error, they will change it.
FYI: A reference to the retheme remains on the Splash Mountain page of the My Disney Experience app.
